Just invested in this superb Ale, locally based in Bournemouth and, interestingly, totally Vegan.

This award winning Brewery will be producing two brands:

  • Southbourne Ales – the existing international award winning brand, a collection of eight ales that have been produced in cask and bottle over the past three years and are ready for expansion locally.
  • Tingay”s –  a new range for the national/International markets to be sold wholesale to supermarkets, pub companies and wholesale distributors. This range will include a craft lager.

The brewery will also operate a visitors centre with multimedia brewery tours operating daily to some of the 88 million annual visitors to Bournemouth. A public bar will operate at the front of the premises with a capacity of 180 persons. www.southbourneales.co.uk

Having worked with SMEs and business owners from all types of backgrounds for the past 10 years, I am excited and enthusiastic about being a Lead Investor for Southbourne Ales, which is providing me with a unique opportunity to enter a new market.

When I first met Jennifer Tingay, founder of Southbourne Ales, I was immediately struck by her passion and dedication for her business and we immediately clicked. Finding out more about Jennifer’s journey to setting up her own brewery really impressed me. I love Jennifer’s commitment to the quality of products, customer service and staff conditions which matches my own ethos. She is also very conscious about corporate responsibility to the environment and has a strong sense of the importance of community.

When I look for investment opportunities, I have to see and be convinced that the business owner has vision and creativity to grow and develop the business beyond the obvious. Jennifer has these by the bucketful and her plans for the second phase of funding for Southbourne Ales really inspires me.
